Authors are encouraged to submit their work in two phases. In phase one (abstract submission), a title, abstract, a list of all co-authors, domain conflicts, subject areas, and answers to qualifying questions are submitted via the MDTS web submission site. In phase two (paper submission), the paper itself is submitted whereby the submission of phase one can still be modified.

Paper Submission Deadline: 02/28/2022

Regular Paper Submission:

  • The paper will discuss original and unpublished results. Submissions previously published or simultaneously submitted to multiple conferences or journals will be rejected.
  • All papers must be in English and submitted in WORD or PDF format through the CMT submission site. For consistent appearance of Conference Proceedings, it is required to use the IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings, available in Microsoft Word, LaTeX format or the very easy to use “IEEE Conference Template” found under the 0verleaf link. (Overleaf does require account creation. Free for 1 or 2 collaborative users). Please ONLY use the US Letter size templates.
  • Each paper is limited to six pages (including the abstract, figures, tables and references), double-columned, 10pt or 11pt font. Authors can use up to an additional 2 pages if required.
  • MDTS will go through a single-blind paper review process. If you wish to protect the authors’ identities, you may omit authors’ info from the title page and refer to your own published works in the third person.
  • Regular papers will be reviewed as finished papers and, upon acceptance, will be included in the Digest of Papers which will be distributed to all registrants. As an option, authors can sign up for publication, in IEEE Xplore® which requires copyright sign-off to IEEE.

Extended Summary Submission:

  • Two-page work-in-progress extended summary are welcome and are subject to the same peer-review process.
  • Accepted extended summary will be included in Digest of Papers which will be distributed to registrants.

It is the authors’ responsibility to ensure that their paper submission meets all IEEE guidelines, and that
uploaded files are readable. Each accepted paper or extended summary must have at least one author with complete MDTS-2022 registration.
